Product-Qualified Lead (PQL)

A product-qualified lead (PQL) is a prospective customer who has already experienced meaningful value in a product through a free trial or a freemium offering and demonstrates purchasing intent. A PQL also needs to match your ideal customer profile (ICP). 

The biggest benefit of identifying PQLs is helping Sales focus on the right leads instead of relying only on all leads or even marketing-qualified leads. It can also help you better define the ideal customer profile.
