Time governance desc
Video transcript
Most PSOGs have targets around billable hours, rules against tracking time on certain cost codes, on closed tasks, or without proper notes. The problem is enforcement. Today, it looks like someone on your team chasing down time entry errors every Monday morning. Mistakes can mean either clients pushing back on invoices or you leaving money on the table.
Nitro lets you describe these rules and enforces them automatically on every timesheet every week. Policies are created and used. We are going to set up three policies. First, for solution architects, seventy percent of their week should be billable.
Nitro thinks for a bit and constructs the policy. Hit create and it's live in seconds. Second, Nitro should block time logs from being created on a task that's already closed.
And third, Nitro should flag when somebody logs more time on a task than what's planned for them. Let's see how it actually works for your team. They go about logging time as usual. Now here, you can see that the moment they log more time on the task than their planned effort, it's getting flagged instantly. When someone logs time on a task that closed last month, the time entry is blocked from being created.
And when this person, who is a solution architect, submits their timesheet without meeting the mandatory billable utilization of seventy percent, the submission is blocked. The Monday morning review just got much faster.
